Miltons Store For Men Remembers Ron Burton

Type :General

Miltons Store For Men President Dana Katz gives new outfits to seven Ron Burton Training Village students who are on their way to college. Milton’s gave the students new suites in honor of Ron Burton founder of RBTV.  In 1955, when Ron was a senior in Springfield, OH, the folks in his town held a Ron Burton Day to get him ready for college. “The purpose of the Ron Burton day was to give me luggage and clothes, so when I went away to school I would look like somebody,” Burton once said in an interview.  Fifty-four years later Miltons Store for Men instituted its version of “Ron Burton Day” by giving the seven deserving RBTV graduates new outfits and shoes to take with them to college.  Miltons Dana Katz measured and fitted each RBTV student at his Miltons store in Newton, MA.  All of these students received full scholarships to college.  RBTV thanks Miltons Store for Men for honoring our graduates and remembering Ron Burton.
